This combination of 3.5m lead, loop reins and natural halter allows the versatility of ground skills preparation and riding using only one piece of equipment. Great for trail rides. The rein is made from Black double braid marine rope.

The stick is a sturdy 1.2M made with a leather loop to allow attachment of the string. The stick is for extension and reach and doubles as a directional aid. A must for handling young or touchy horses. Not designed for use as a whip.

The Mecate rein is the rein component of the Natural Hackamore as pictured above. The rein is made from 14mm double braid marine rope and is finished at both ends with leather.

The clip on reins are made from 12MM rope with chrome trigger clips. These can be easily attached to either rope halter or bridle. They come in 2.6M or 3.0M lengths.

This is a new product made for the person wishing to compete without losing the feel of "live" rope for the optimum communication with the horse. Made from Black 14mm double braid marine rope and quality Australian bridle leather. Available with brass or stainless steel buckles in 2 sizes. Approximately 2.6M length and 3M length.

To obtain the length of rein required, take the rein until you have contact with the horse's mouth. When you have this contact, touch your breastbone (sternum) with your reins. Measure the distance from the bit to your breastbone and then double this for your ideal rein length.
